Feng Shui

It’s a practice based on the idea that our homes are a mirror of what’s happening inside us, says Kiran. The purpose of feng shui is to get your environment in alignment with who you are and where you want to go—to harmonize your energy with your home’s energy. Feng Shui is based on the concept that everything in your environment has a life force or energy called “chi.”

Just as chi flows through your body, chi also flows through your living environment. When the energy flow is stagnant
(think clutter and overflowing closets), moves too quickly (think long dark hallways, stairs, and straight shots through the home), or is obstructed (think walls, trees, or even cars in the wrong place), the unbalanced chi may lead to ill health, domestic strife, or financial concerns.

Feng Shui adjustments can help you make sure that the chi energy flow is just right so that  everything in your environment supports your wish for good luck, good health, harmonious relationships, and prosperity.

How Do You Do That?

The success of these principles led to the application of Feng Shui to indoor furnishings, including everything from sofas and pictures to paints and art objects.
As part of arranging a home or business, Kiran also includes a complex mix of compass directions, birthdays of occupants, Chinese astrology and cultural elements. Feng shui master and interior designer Kiran Chandan shares her best tips for making every room in your house feel calm and happy.
Kiran’s style of Feng-Shui is very different compared to the many as she incorporates the changes in the most subtle ways. Her knowledge of an interior designer plays a major role during the changes as she plays with colours and the placement of the furniture for best results.
